Activu Corporation will demonstrate its proven approach to video wall visualization, collaboration and mobility solutions at two conferences next month in Albany, New York: the EMMOS User Conference being held September 7-10 and the OSIsoft T&D User Conference being held September 10-12.
During the vendor showcases, Activu will showcase the company’s video wall visualization and collaboration software that helps utility and energy companies to more easily monitor and manage their operations by enabling the easy distribution and visualization of critical operational information across their organizations. Attendees at both conferences will be able to tour the control room at NYISO and see Activu’s largest video wall installation in the U.S.
With Activu’s software, grid operators can dynamically display and distribute visual information on utility command center video display walls, on mobile screens, at local sites, between sites and in the field: multiple SCADA views, Geospatial Information Systems (GIS), OMS, DMS, data network monitoring systems, work orders, etc. These dynamic visuals, alongside video feeds from security cameras, weather monitors and news feeds, result in a common operating picture and significantly improve situational awareness, mission-critical decision making and response levels.
In addition to participating in the vendor showcases, Activu will be presenters at the EMMOS Users Conference. John Stark, Activu’s Vice President of Product Management, will be speaking during a session on video wall visualization.
Energy and utility companies operate in a 24/7 environment, ensuring uninterrupted service, incorporating new initiatives into existing operations and upholding government and security regulations. Activu’s intelligent video wall visualization and collaboration software delivers effective decision support that helps energy and utility companies to more effectively monitor and manage operations by providing real-time visual data and enabling the easy distribution and visualization of critical operational information across the organization, from the control room video wall and among operators to backup sites, key subject matter experts and field operations. Decision makers have the information they need, when and where they need it.
