Hope For The Warriors Prepares to Get Down and Dirty at Rescue Ranch
Statesville, NC (PRWEB) September 04, 2014 -- Hope For The Warriors® has teamed up with Rescue Ranch to host the first “Run The Ranch” mud run Oct. 25 at Rescue Ranch in Statesville, North Carolina.
The two nonprofit organizations will offer a 5K mud run targeting individuals looking for a fun experience in a less intense environment.
Run The Ranch will take place from 8-11 a.m. ET and serve as the kick-off for the second annual Rescue Ranch Fall Festival. The festival is a family-friendly day filled with animal presentations, bounce houses, crafts, fall portraits, hay rides and more. Following the run, participants and their families are invited to enjoy the festivities. Online registration is $30 and race day registration is $40. Organization Backgrounds
Hope For The Warriors® is a national nonprofit organization assisting post-9/11 service members, their families and families of the fallen who have sustained physical and psychological wounds in the line of duty. With the existing Run For The Warriors® series, the organization has been successful at bringing attention and programs to these warriors in need.
Rescue Ranch is a nonprofit animal welfare organization founded by Krissie Newman and her husband, NASCAR® driver Ryan Newman. The 87-acre facility offers school, scout and camp programs, birthday parties and private tours, which promote humane education through hands-on learning. Rescue Ranch is located in Statesville, North Carolina – less than an hour from Winston-Salem, Charlotte and Hickory.
