Grand Image, Inc. the Massachusetts-based grand format printing company is now offering laser etched graphics.

In addition to laser etching and marking, the CAMFive also offers smooth edges on acrylic dimensional characters.

In August 2013, Grand Image, Inc. acquired the CAMFive Laser Cutter and Engraver for laser cutting and engraving. The machine is a 100 watt, high-end device that uses a super fine German lens that is known for producing unprecedented precision in cutting and engraving. The CAMFive Laser Cutter/Engraver has a work area of 47.25 x 23.62 inches and is suitable for large projects on any level of intricacy.

“For the past year we have been able to really dive deep into what our capabilities with the CAMFive can be,” said Margaret Vosburgh, Marketing & Communications Coordinator.

“We feel we have mastered laser etching and marking when it comes to the standard acrylic we stock. We etch acrylics and produce portraits with intricate detail and add LED lighting to truly create eye catching signage for our clients. Our marking capabilities add a 3D element to acrylic signage as well. This is a great expansion of our services,” said Michael Roser, product developer at Grand Image, Inc.

In addition to laser etching and marking, the CAMFive also offers smooth edges on acrylic dimensional characters.
