The Montagu Arms is proud to announce the promotion of Head Sommelier, David Kubler to Group Head Sommelier of both the Montagu and the Montagu’s sister hotel Careys Manor in Brockenhurst.
David has previously worked for many Michelin star establishments, including the world renowned The Fat Duck in London and Le Manoir Aus Quat’Saison in Oxford with celebrity chef Raymond Blanc.
David’s knowledge and expertise are second to none, and after two years at The Montagu Arms David is now taking on a new challenge working for both of the hotels.
The role of a Sommelier is not just to be knowledgeable of the wines on offer in the establishment, but also to help create a wine experience with guests in order to provide the best wines to complement their meals.
