The African Explorer is a new Lernidee rail adventure on the Desert Express, also known as the Jewel of the Desert. The rail safari travels through southern Africa between Windhoek, Namibia, and Cape Town, visiting Fish River Canyon, the Namib Desert, Walvis Bay on the Atlantic, Spitzkopje, Etosha National Park and Damaraland. The Prestige Continental Express, Switzerland, is a new arrival at the Luxury Train Club. A maximum of 48 passengers voyage through spectacular Swiss scenery (via St Moritz, Gotthard, Furka Pass, Matterhorn, Jungfrau and more), on a variety of trains and a paddle steamer. The trip begins and ends with the Prestige Continental Express, in between, there are some special little trains with heritage locomotives. The tour departs Zurich, June 18, 2015 for 10 days.

Special Journeys in 2015: On June 1, 2015, the legendary Venice Simplon – Orient – Express travels from Venice to Denmark and Sweden, taking 5 days/ 4 nights – two nights on the train and two nights in the Copenhagen Marriott hotel. This journey also operates in the opposite direction, Stockholm – Copenhagen – Venice, departing 6 June 2015.
