In more detail, the schedule kicks off the Spring/Summer fashion season on Tuesday, September 8th with STYLE360’s 10th Anniversary opening party at uptown’s hottest rooftop, Level R, with host Carmen Electra and guest DJ set with Mandy Jiroux. Carmen Electra, a celebrity favorite of STYLE360, will launch this season’s STYLE360 Fashion Week in conjunction with her just released video for her hit song “#WERQ” and in promotion of her new single, “Around the World”, releasing this September 2014. Mandy Jiroux is a triple threat being a DJ, recording artist and dancer. In 2008 she launched the popular YouTube channel, “The Miley & Mandy Show,” with Miley Cyrus. She went on to join girl group BG5 and has since launched her own YouTube channel and is currently working on her debut solo record. FHM has dubbed her their new favorite sexy pop star and Internet crush!
On September 9th, day two of STYLE360 jump-starts with Austin native, Isabella Rose Taylor at 11am. Dell Presents the NYFW Debut of Isabella Rose Taylor, a member of the Dell Women’s Entrepreneur Network (DWEN), with a special performance by recording artist Olivia Somerlyn. Taylor’s collection is a junior’s clothing line on the rise. Inspired by her artwork, travels and the world around her, the line is an ensemble collection for the ever-evolving teen spirit. Her line will be launching on Nordstrom.com and in select stores in September!
Olivia Somerlyn, a California native, makes worldwide fan engagement a top priority, and the rapid growth rate of her social media pages is a big part of what has the industry buzzing. The fresh-faced 20 year-old singer, songwriter, pianist and guitarist was recently chosen as one of iHeartRadio’s Rising Star finalists, is backed by some music industry heavyweights (she is managed by Kevin Jonas Sr.) and has toured the US, UK, and South America with artists like Jessie J and The Jonas Brothers. Her current single, “Parachute” is enjoying radio success and climbing US, UK, and European charts.
Next will be the debut show of Serena Williams ‘Signature Statement Collection’ presented by HSN at 3pm. Seventeen time grand slam tennis champion Serena Williams brings glam to HSN with her exclusive Signature Statement Collection of ready-to-wear apparel! Following the unveiling of this bold and flirty line, there will be an after-party at Level R Rooftop Bar & Lounge at 9pm.
Closing out the day will be Angela Simmons launching a capsule collection, "BACK TO THE BASICS" at 7:30pm, from her upcoming line Angela by Angela Simmons. September 10th kicks off with FTL MODA at 11AM. Still in the echo of its previous season at MBFW New York, FTL MODA will present a catwalk of international growing brands selected to build a back-to-back, full line presentation spacing from the new Italian upscale street line by Frihaend to Hollywood’s glamorous ready to wear by Kami Shade'. FTL MODA is bringing energy and style on stage through different genres including a special bridal collection by Jayme Elise, creating a pulsing runway in preparation for the Italian activities that will take place at Milan Fashion Week. Made in Italy also for the special FTL MODA lounge by Leghila’ that will energize the space and waiting time between shows at STYLE360, starting on September 9th. The afternoon is set for the queen of glam and Shahs of Sunset star, Lilly Ghalichi’s brainchild, WANTMYLOOK, at 3pm. WantMyLook brings you everyday glam for the everyday girl! WantMyLook is excited to announce its collaboration with fashion designer Michael Costello, who is best know from Project Runway Season 8 and was a Project Runway All-Star Season 1 finalist. Mr. Costello’s designs have graced the bodies of Hollywood’s biggest stars including Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian, Nicole Richie, Celine Dion and Michelle Williams to name a few. STYLE360 wraps with a presentation closing party showcasing Kristin Cavallari By Chinese Laundry at 8pm. Kristin Cavallari has created a collection that combines the glamour and style of today’s celebrity while nodding at the current economic climate. Styles range from classic ballet flats with modern studs to peek-a-boo mesh platform heels that work the red carpet as well as designer jeans! The presentation and party will be held at the Row NYC hotel located at 700 8th Avenue. Cosmetic brand, Cargo Cosmetics, and skincare brand, Embryolisse will serve as official sponsors of this fashion presentation.
