FWM Tubular and Equipment and BC Gulf Coast Join Forces
Houston, TX (PRWEB) September 03, 2014 -- FWM Tubular (FWM), a leading provider of manufacturing, machining, sales and service of drill pipe, drill collars, heavy weight and kellys to the oil and gas industry announced today that it has successfully completed its business combination with BC Gulf Coast (BCGC), a leading provider of repair and manufacturing services with over 20 years of specific oil and gas industry experience.
Computer numerical control (CNC) is the automated operation of a machine by a computer program. CNC equipment provides the ability to manufacture parts from bar stock and machine connections to within thousands of an inch and is necessary for complex equipment configurations in the oil industry.
The partnership combines the companies’ complementary portfolios, enabling the combined entity to offer a broader range and expanded capacity of products and services to their clients. The relationship allows FWM and BCGC to further meet the growing demand for manufacturing, machining, sales and service of drill pipe, drill collars, heavy weight and kellys in the oil and gas industry.

The combined company will be called FWM Tubular and Equipment. Mr. Huebel will carry the title of Co-President and Co-CEO and will focus on sales and integrating the two companies. Mr. Tegler will carry the title of Co-President and Co-CEO and will focus on operations. The combined company will be housed in the 25 acre, FWM Houston location and does not expect workforce reductions. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
