Though similar in age, these two characters represent opposing cultures and desires during their time. Their leadership and passion to pursue their goals bring them together to the historic battle of Little Bighorn. The book merges interesting reproductions of paintings and original photographs to help readers assimilate the story for easy understanding. The narrative also projects how these native grounds were acquired to be known today as the western states and the role of the government in its eventual acquisitions.
