Author Yaya Sillah has years of experience as a spiritual counselor for married couples, families and individuals. He found that his counseling was really helping a lot of people from all over the world. He now shares his tried and tested techniques and ideas for positive change by writing “Marriage and Society” (published by Xlibris NZ).
Sillah titled the book “Marriage and Society” because a lot of the issues that he talks about are rooted on marriage and society. At its heart, the book offers solutions to the many challenges that people face in today’s society, so his book actually covers many aspects of life like friendship and education, but he connects them to those two primary concepts.
As his advice and stories are all based on practical experience, he presents his ideas with an impression of them being solid and well-grounded. This confidence in his narrative lends itself to making his work both inspiring and empowering as the reader is offered that same sense of certainty.
For all its confidence, the book does not tell the reader what to do and is very open in simply presenting its solutions, leaving it ultimately to the reader to make the decision. Simply put, it offers an eloquent and well-written invitation to a better way of life. Everyone is invited, but it is their choice to actually walk that way.
