QTS Named by Microsoft as 2014 New York Metro “CloudOS” Partner of the Year

(QTS) today announced it has been named by Microsoft as the New York Metro CloudOS Partner of the Year for 2014, following the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) in Washington, D.C. This marks the third year in a row QTS has won a NY Metro Partner of the Year award, and the fourth time in the last seven years, by Microsoft.
QTS was honored among the top Microsoft partners for providing outstanding solutions and services based upon Microsoft technologies – particularly the “CloudOS” technologies including Windows Server, Hyper-V, System Center and Azure that constitute Microsoft’s Private Cloud platform, as well as fostering superior customer engagement in the Eastern United States. The NY Metro Area Partner of the Year Award recognizes QTS as the “stand out” CloudOS partner who has exhibited outstanding accomplishments during the fiscal year.

During Microsoft’s Fiscal Year ending in 2014, QTS delivered over 100 Microsoft deployment “wins” in NY/NJ/CT, around Windows 7 and 8.1, Office 2013, Exchange Server, SharePoint Server, Lync Server, Office 365 in the Cloud, Hyper-V, System Center and Intune, SQL Server, Azure and other important Microsoft solutions. To the benefit of its customers, QTS was able to deliver nearly $500,000 from various Microsoft funding programs to help many of its customers deploy new Microsoft technologies at lower cost, and help them take advantage of their Microsoft relationship and resources. Working together, QTS and Microsoft were able to help these New Jersey, New York and Connecticut businesses to get onto the most current Microsoft platforms and enhance improved staff productivity and effectiveness while driving down cost and maximizing the value they received from their Microsoft software and Cloud service investments.
QTS was previously the Microsoft NY Metro Partner of the Year for 2013, and for 2012, as well as for 2008, so this marks QTS’ third win in a row of a NY Metro District Partner of the Year award, and the fourth time in a 7 year period. Microsoft presents Field Partner Awards in multiple categories, including this CloudOS Award, with honorees selected from more than 200 organizations across the Eastern United States.
