To be published in the vSphere Pocketbook Series for the second year in a row is a tremendous honor. Thank you Frank and PernixData for developing this book and selecting my entry.

Teterboro, NJ (PRWEB) September 03, 2014

Yury Magalif, principal architect, Cloud Computing at Computer Design & Integration (CDI LLC), has been published in the “vSphere Design Pocketbook 2.0—Blog Edition.” The Pocketbook Series, developed by Frank Denneman, technology evangelist at PernixData, provides best practices for virtualized data center designs.

Expanding on the success of last year’s inaugural edition, which delivered more than 100 tweet-sized tried and tested insights, Frank Denneman developed the “vSphere Design Pocketbook 2.0—Blog Edition,” consisting of the top virtualization blogs entries from 2013 and 2014. The book provides a deeper dive into software-defined data center design with more in-depth descriptions of challenges and their corresponding solutions.

Magalif was one of 21 bloggers chosen amongst many through a general call for submissions. As a co-author, he shares the Pocketbook pages with industry leading experts, including Duncan Epping (yellow-bricks.com), Cormac Hogan, Brad Hedlund, William Lam, Michael Webster and Josh Odgers.

Magalif’s work with CDI LLC clients includes architecting and overseeing the implementation of cloud and virtualization projects in critical data center applications for enterprises in the NY Metro area.

“To be published in the vSphere Pocketbook Series for the second year in a row is a tremendous honor. Thank you Frank and PernixData for developing this book and selecting my entry,” said Magalif. He may be reached for discussion and commentary on Twitter at @YuryMagalif.

The “vSphere Design Pocketbook Series 2.0—Blog Edition” was distributed at #VMWorld, San Francisco, Aug. 24-28, 2014, and is currently available for electronic download here.
