Toms River, NJ (PRWEB) September 03, 2014
As if the Internet didn’t make researching vacation getaways easy enough, outdoors enthusiasts can now view nearly 4,000 national and state parks with just one click. In an effort to create the simplest guide to research parks and their amenities all over the country, blogger, Seth Teicher created the National and State Parks Adventure Map 1.0.
With the idea originally focused on parks in California, Oregon and Washington, Teicher quickly decided to expand his research including the entire country. Created in a website forum called Mode Analytics, the map features nine categories that users can choose from to narrow their search including all nearby amenities and activities. According to visitnj.org, New Jersey is home to over 60 national and state parks.
To find a park near you, visit https://modeanalytics.com/benn/reports/473773ba1fb5/runs/a54b018d5ec3. All data collected for the site is provided by crowdsourcing service, CrowdFlower.
