Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Offer 'Ultimate Leap,' Sweepstakes Sponsored by Pick 'N Save

The Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel are excited to announce the return of the Ultimate Leap Sweepstakes, sponsored by Pick ‘n Save. Now in its third year, the contest is back due to popular demand and builds on last year’s success. The grand prize winner will be given the opportunity to do the Lambeau Leap during halftime of the December 28 Packers vs. Lions game.

Thirty-five entrants will be randomly chosen as semi-finalists by the Packers after the conclusion of the contest on November 30, 2013. Twenty-five semi-finalists will be named third place winners and will receive a $50 gift card to the Packers Pro Shop. The 10 remaining finalists will be given the all-star treatment including: training on how to perfect your Lambeau Leap from a Packers player, lessons on how to properly stretch and warm-up demonstrated by the Packers training staff and a jersey autographed by the player who taught the Lambeau Leap class. Each of the 10 finalists will be given the chance to “try out” for the Packers staff at the end of their instructional training. The staff will then choose one winner, who will do the Lambeau Leap at halftime during the December 28 game in front of 80,000 fans. He or she will also receive the game ball from the game, an authentic Green Bay Packers team jersey with his or her name on the back, four VIP sideline passes for pre-game, four club seats for the game and one-night hotel accommodation in Green Bay.

For those interested in turning their dream of doing the Lambeau Leap into a reality, there are multiple ways to enter. Fans can enter by purchasing the weekly pre-designated item at participating Wisconsin Pick ‘n Save, Copps or Metro Market locations. When making the purchase, fans must present their ‘Fresh Perks’ card to be entered. If interested in entering without purchase at these stores, please ask for an entry form from the customer service desk.

Packer fans can also enter online at http://www.jsonline.com/theleap. Contestants must be 18 years or older to enter. The Green Bay Packers are excited and proud to offer fans this once-in-a-lifetime experience for the third straight year.
