We welcome submissions from any in-house designer who creates product labels, whether or not they went to art school.

West Warwick, RI (PRWEB) September 04, 2014

QuickLabel Systems, an Astro-Med, Inc. (NASDAQ: ALOT) business unit, has recently announced that it is hosting the first annual In-House Label Design Competition. With this competition, in-house label designers have a chance to showcase their best work, and may win the Grand Prize of $500 and the coveted “Quickly” trophy, if they submit the winning label design. A panel of packaging experts will judge and announce the finalists at the Pack Expo trade show on November 3rd.

“We at QuickLabel appreciate the hard work that in-house label designers do. We welcome submissions from any in-house designer who creates product labels, whether or not they went to art school. Good luck to all of you,” said Michael Pekala, Art Director of QuickLabel Systems.

In-House Label Designers to Take Center Stage

In-house label designers are put through strenuous situations daily to meet the requirements of their companies. Many such in-house label designers are self-taught artists who picked up label design as just one part of their overall work responsibilities, while others are professionally trained graphic designers.

With this contest, QuickLabel will be recognizing the contributions of in-house label designers and rewarding them based on the quality of their submitted label designs.
In an effort to broadcast the reality of in-house label designers, QuickLabel Systems has released a video that showcases the responsibilities and situations that in-house label designers face daily as they juggle demands on their time while designing and printing the product labels for their companies.

How to Enter The In-House Label Design Competition

The In-House Label Design Competition is currently accepting submissions at http://www.QuickLabel.com/designcontest. The three winners will be publicly announced and prized awarded on November 3, 2014 at 11:00 am during the Pack Expo trade show in Chicago, IL. The Grand Prize winner receives $500 and the coveted Quickly trophy. The second place winner receives $300, and the third place winner receives $150.
