Susan Antonio joins Outside GC from Saturn Partners, a Boston-based venture capital firm, where she spent the last 13 years as Chief Legal Counsel and General Partner. Susan will leverage her experience from both the legal and investor perspective to work with Outside GC’s growth-stage clients, as well as clients that invest in growth companies. Susan’s initial clients at Outside GC include a West Coast-based broker dealer, a fast growing venture-backed sports business based in Boston, and a leading growth-stage technology company about to seek its first institutional funding.
Jodie Vasily-Cioffi joins Outside GC to work with the firm’s growing list of bio-pharma clients. Jodie’s 15 years of experience advising life science companies, including 10 years in-house at Genzyme Corporation, where she handled a wide-variety of corporate legal work, including public company and operational legal work, make her ideally suited to act as on-demand, in-house counsel to both public and private life sciences companies. Jodie’s initial Outside GC clients include a medical device company that recently had a successful IPO.
Jill Zimmerman-Diaz has served clients in the life sciences and healthcare space and possesses extensive litigation oversight experience. For a decade, Jill served as General Counsel/Compliance Officer for a healthcare services company and has knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, False Claims Act, electronic health records, and HIPAA. For over three years, Jill represented American Express, Discover Bank, Bank of America, and other national banks, to create a litigation program involving over 25,000 commercial lawsuits in 28 states during a time of intense regulatory scrutiny. In addition to her general business clients, Jill has represented multiple pharmaceutical, medical device, and healthcare clients, and one of her initial Outside GC clients includes a multi-national pharmaceutical company.
