The Australian Broking Awards, now in their 4th year, focus on leading brokers and brokerages in the Australian Mortgage Industry. Amongst the nominees, this year, for Boutique Aggregator of the Year was eChoice, a leading online mortgage brokerage firm, who have been in the banking and financial sector since 1998.
The awards, held in Sydney on Friday the 15th of August at the Australian Technology Park, recognise outstanding achievement and performance in the mortgage industry. This year's award winners are judged by a panel of 16, who have extensive financial and business backgrounds.
Amongst the judges were Bridget Sakr, chief commercial officer, Genworth Financial, Phil White, head of strategy and financial institutions distribution, QBE LMI, and Peter Strong, CEO, Council of Small Business of Australia. These, and the other 13 judges, selected winners from the finalists based on the individual merits of each finalist to meet the criteria of each category.
Strong Opposition No Match for eChoice.
eChoice, who were one of Australia's first mortgage comparison sites and who have helped more than 50,000 Australians to save on their home loans, battled with several other finalists to take out the Boutique Aggregator of the Year award. Other finalists included the Australian Loan Company, Ballast, National Mortgage Brokers, and Outsource Financing.
