Discover Lehigh Valley and Trans-Bridge Lines Unveil Two New Area-Themed Bus Wraps
Lehigh Valley, PA (PRWEB) September 03, 2014 -- Discover Lehigh Valley, the official Destination Marketing Organization for Lehigh and Northampton counties in eastern Pennsylvania, and Trans-Bridge Lines unveiled two new colorfully wrapped buses aimed to promote the Lehigh Valley region along Trans-Bridge’s New York City, Atlantic City, and other routes.
The wraps incorporate multiple recognizable Lehigh Valley mascots including meLVin from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms; FeRROUS and FeFe from the Lehigh Valley IronPigs; The Peep® from Just Born; Tip the Crayon from Crayola Experience™; Snoopy from Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom; Fretty from C.F. Martin & Co. as well as a few young Lehigh Valley residents.
“The wraps are a very visual and colorful way to promote Lehigh Valley as a tourism destination,” Discover Lehigh Valley President, Michael Stershic, said. “Everywhere these buses go, they are sure to catch the eye of another person who may become interested in seeing all the great attractions we have to offer.”
The bus wraps were designed in conjunction with Discover Lehigh Valley by Bethlehem-based Spark Creative and installed by Exhibit Studios. The bus wraps incorporate the mascots and local Lehigh Valley kids on the Dorney Park rollercoaster Steel Force. The idea behind the design was to not only show off the numerous locations and attractions that make Lehigh Valley fun, but also to accomplish that in a unique way.
Various Lehigh Valley landmarks such as the Blast Furnaces in Bethlehem, PPL Tower and Coca-Cola Park in Allentown, and The State Theatre Center for the Arts in Easton are featured in the background. The rear of the bus features FeRROUS and Snoopy holding a sign that says, “Follow us to Lehigh Valley” with the Peep looking on. The wrap is also adorned with the DiscoverLehighValley.com website address.
The buses are already in service in Trans-Bridge Lines’ regular schedule and will be used for varying types of trips.
