Corista Adds Chief Financial Officer, Raphael Wechsler to the Management Team

Mr. Wechsler brings over 20 years of financial management experience. He began his career at Fechtor Detwiler in 1990 where he rose to Senior Vice President. He then served at Morgan Stanley’s Boston office, as a Sr. VP, growing and managing a $100+ million portfolio and participating in over 100 public equity deals. Mr. Wechsler also served as the Executive Director of International Equities and Fund Manager at Glitnir Bank in Iceland during a critical time in the country’s financial crisis. In that role, Mr. Wechsler led the Global Equities Fund to outperform the benchmark by 700 basis points ahead of schedule with 1,200 basis point improvement/turnaround. He later rejoined Detwiler Fenton as their Chief Investment Officer; leading over 50 Capital Strategy pieces for both institutional and retail clients.
Mr. Wechsler holds a BA in Liberal Arts from Boston University and earned his MBA in Multi-National Finance & Strategy from the acclaimed IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain.
