1547 Critical Systems Realty Welcomes New Tenant
Matawan, NJ (PRWEB) September 04, 2014 -- fifteenfortyseven Critical Systems Realty, LLC (1547), a developer and operator of custom-designed datacenters, announced today that Green House Data a Cheyenne, Wyoming-based retail colocation, managed services, and cloud solutions provider, will occupy 20,000 sq. ft. of datacenter and office space at 1 Ramland Road, 1547’s facility in Orangeburg, New York. The state-of-the-art facility will serve as Green House Data’s East Coast flagship location.
“This is an extremely exciting milestone,” said Corey Welp, Managing Director and co-founder of 1547. “1 Ramland has not only secured a proven and well-respected operator, but 1547 has also gained an in-building partner for Managed services and a wide portfolio of infrastructure options, which include as-a-Service offerings and traditional colocation.”
The long-term agreement provides approximately 2MW of power and kicks off the full redevelopment of the campus. Construction is set to begin immediately and includes custom-designed pods to meet specific client requirements, complete with a power density to support 10kW cabinets. The scheduled launch of Green House Data’s Tier III designed, concurrently maintainable space is January 1, 2015.
“With its proximity to the tri-state area and focus on serving clients with high-performance infrastructure requirements, 1547’s 1 Ramland Road location aligns with our growth model,” said Shawn Mills, President and Founder of Green House Data. “Additionally, the Orangeburg location augments our nationwide facilities and ensures the best performance for our customers and their customers, regardless of location. Finally, the incentives provided by the Rockland County IDA made the decision to locate our flagship East Coast datacenter a very easy decision.”
Located on 32 acres at 1 Ramland Road in Orangeburg, New York, the 232,000 sq. ft. datacenter is near the region’s major highways and key regional datacenters such as Bloomberg’s in Orangetown’s Corporate Park Drive and the NYSE datacenter in Mahwah, New Jersey. The property is in close proximity to and synchronous with Manhattan, Connecticut, and key regional facilities. 1547’s Orangeburg campus is an optimal location for latency-sensitive applications, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
