Greenberg Traurig’s Eamon C. Welch Appointed as Student Placement Chair of the University of Miami School of Law's Young Alumni Committee
MIAMI (PRWEB) September 04, 2014 -- Eamon C. Welch, a Law Clerk in the Real Estate Practice Group at the Miami office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, has been appointed as Student Placement Chair of the University of Miami School of Law’s Young Alumni Committee.
Formed by recent graduates, the Young Alumni group exists to foster strong relationships between the Law School, the Law Alumni Association and those who have graduated within the last 10 years. The main goal of the group is to keep alumni actively engaged through social events, professional networking opportunities and service projects.
“I am honored to accept this appointment as Student Placement Chair of the Young Alumni Committee,” said Welch. “I look forward to working with the committee and association members to create lasting bonds among alumni.”
Welch is a 2014 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Miami School of Law. He received a bachelor’s degree in philosophy in 2009 from Trinity College, a master’s degree in humanities in 2010 from Duke University, and a certificate in financial management in 2011 from Cornell University.
