Gateway For Cancer Research To Host 2nd Annual Trails 4 Trials Cycling And Bike Bash
Goodyear, Ariz (PRWEB) September 03, 2014 -- On Saturday September 27, 2014 an estimated 800 riders will “clip in” to overcome cancer at the second annual Trails 4 Trials Charity Ride (T4T) in Goodyear, Arizona. All donations will benefit Gateway for Cancer ResearchSM, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on finding better treatment options for people battling cancer today.
Beginning and ending at Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA), T4T is a sanctioned and timed USA cycling road race. This year’s event offers four course distances including a 100-mile, 50-mile and 25-mile race as well as a three-mile Family Fun Ride. Cyclists of all ages and abilities are welcome and invited to participate individually or as a team. Start times will be staggered and all rides will culminate with the Bike Bash celebration featuring live music, food, beverages, raffles, youth activities and more. The Bike Bash is free and open to the public.
“Trails 4 Trials celebrates and supports heroic people living with cancer today, their families and caregivers and physician-researchers who work hard to save more lives,” said Gateway President, Teresa Hall Bartels. “We are so thrilled to host the second annual T4T event in Goodyear, and excited to unite members of the surrounding communities who believe there is a better way to conquer cancer.”
Thanks to generous underwriting of event and administrative expenses by CTCA®, 99 cents of every dollar received funds innovative cancer clinical trials. Progress can continue through more innovation and greater trial enrollment.
Signature event sponsors for the 2014 T4T event include Sunquest Information Systems, Inc. Race registration is open and available now on the official T4T web site: http://www.trails4trials.org.
