While I have enjoyed all of our volunteer opportunities over the years, I am excited to know this project will result in a beautiful space for the community to use for years to come.

Keep Indianapolis Beautiful is a not-for-profit organization that partners with neighborhoods, the public sector and Indianapolis groups and businesses to complete community improvement projects in Indianapolis and surrounding areas. In 2013, Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, along with over 30,000 volunteers, completed 545 community projects, ranging from litter collection, landscaping and neighborhood cleanup.

The Indianapolis office of total recruitment services provider PrincetonOne recently volunteered with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful. The group worked on a project to improve the outdoor landscape at the Benedict Inn Retreat and Conference Center, a ministry for women, men and children of all ages and faiths, located on the south side of Indianapolis, in Beech Grove, Ind.

Keep Indianapolis Beautiful Director of GreenSpace Emily Wood enjoyed having PrincetonOne work on the project. She noted, “I am very impressed by the PrincetonOne group, because not only were they completing very hard physical work, it was a very hot and humid day. Every one of them remained positive and worked as a team on the IPL Project GreenSpace, located at the Benedict Inn Retreat and Conference Center. I hope they choose to volunteer with KIB again and again!”

PrincetonOne hopes its work helps attract positive attention to Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, as well as the area surrounding and mission of St. Benedict Inn. “Contributing to the Keep Indianapolis Beautiful green space at the Benedict Inn Retreat and Conference Center in Beech Grove was a great experience,” stated PrincetonOne Program Manager Jaimie Kline. “While I have enjoyed all of our volunteer opportunities over the years, I am excited to know this project will result in a beautiful space for the community to use for years to come.”
