Inmar Mobile Commerce Expert to Be Panelist at The Money Event

Kerr will be one of four speakers leading a session at 11:00 a.m. on September 9 titled “Digital Couponing to the Rescue of Mobile Payments.”
The 45-minute program will explore the future of coupons – in particular, the outlook for paperless, digital coupons – while examining the role mobility will play in promotions and what it will take for marketers to engage with the growing number of more highly engaged shoppers. This session is part of The Money Event’s “MM” track or “Money for Millennials.”
The Money Event is designed for companies in mobile, technology, retail, financial services and consumer brands who need to cater to today’s mobile generation and promises sessions that will comprehensively cover how open platforms, mobile technologies, cloud infrastructure and big data science are changing the way the mobile generation conducts commerce. He is responsible for strengthening Inmar’s commerce networks, while integrating mobile and emerging technologies to enhance Inmar’s value proposition. Prior to joining Inmar Kerr served as Vice President, Software Development, for AuthenTec, where he was responsible for defining software strategy and leading the company’s technical Mergers and Acquisition teams. While with AuthenTec, he was involved in the development of the technology that enables the iPhone’s Touch ID fingerprint identity and played a key role in the company’s sale to Apple, Inc.
