Top Industry Regulators and Executives to Speak at Hart Energy’s North American LNG Exports Conference
Houston, Texas (PRWEB) September 04, 2014 -- The 2014 North American LNG Exports conference delivers world-class speakers and a comprehensive focus on LNG export projects from the United States, Canada and Mexico. The conference, part of Hart Energy’s recent acquisition of Zeus Intelligence, will be held November 20-21, 2014, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Houston.
Throughout North America, 40 proposed LNG export projects represent billions of dollars in potential investment and an added 412 million tons of annual LNG export capacity. With half of the proposed projects, the Gulf Coast remains the focal point for export plant development. Still, key regions in Canada and along the U.S. East Coast are quickly emerging as strong contenders.
Which proposed projects will move forward? How will North America’s exports address fierce competition for global LNG markets?
North American LNG Exports 2014 will address these critical questions and more. The expert speaker slate includes:
Michael D. Frederick, Vice President of LNG Operations, Dominion
Dominion operates one of the United States’ largest natural gas storage systems with 947 billion cubic feet of storage capacity and serves utility and retail energy customers in 10 states. Frederick leads operations at the Cove Point LNG facility in Maryland.

Glenn Carlson, Executive/CEO, Port Freeport
Carlson leads the management of the Port and maintains a close working relationship with the Port Commission. He has almost 40 years of experience in port operations and the transportation industry.
Jon Wellinghoff, Immediate Past Chairman, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission
As the commission’s longest serving chair, Wellinghoff had tenure marked by aggressive enforcement and support for renewable power, demand response, and smart grid technologies. He stepped down last year and became a partner with the Stoel Rives law firm.
Javier H. Estrada Estrada, Immediate Past Director for Energy Planning and Information, Mexico
