Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes announce the release of the “Told You” Mixtape by Marco Paul. The 23 track project is currently available for download on the Coast 2 Coast website. This mixtape features a production by Mauve and the rest is entirely produced by Marco Paul himself. There is also featured appearances by Tajh Mahal, and T-Reel.
Marco Paul is a rap artist and producer from New York, and is releasing his first official project at the age of 22. Marco was always a fan of hip-hop music since he was a child, but he did not begin to produce it himself until the age of 20. While going to school for his bachelor’s degree, he continued to make music and record for himself and others. He had drawn inspiration from listening to artists like Jay-Z, Nas, Lil Wayne, Drake, and J. Cole. With Marco Pauls story-telling ability and honest lyrics he shows off his vocal versatility, like in the song “Versace”. Marco Paul is in the process of creating his own unique sound that will capture the attention of listeners everywhere.
“Told You” is Marco Paul's first official project and "Is, mentally, about five years in the making but took about a little under a year to record" claims the 22 year-old. Infused with classical and R&B productions, the entire mixtape flows with Marco Paul’s entrancing voice. With the use of his own productions he was able to zero in on his unique flow, and style, to create a perfect compliment.
