World Car Auto Group is inviting its employees and five lucky fans to “Meet the Cinco” in a private event at the AT&T Center, home of the five-time NBA champion San Antonio Spurs.
The September 14 event is being held by World Car to show its appreciation to the 600+ employees who work at its dealerships in Greater San Antonio, along with members of their families. Fans who enter and are selected to receive a “Golden Ticket” will also get to bring five friends or family members to the event, where they will mingle with the Silver Spurs Dancers and have the opportunity to take selfies with the Spurs’ five championship trophies.
“We’ve got a lot of exciting things going on at World Car, and we want to celebrate them and keep our momentum going,” says Chief Operations Officer Art Kiolbassa. “This event is a way to give back to members of what we refer to as Dynamos in the World Car Human Engine – the employees, customers, and members of the community we serve who make what we do possible.”
World Car recently introduced its mission and vision statements, along with seven Core Values that center on doing business with integrity, affecting positive change on those in need, becoming the pre-eminent authority in the automotive industry, and creating a unified company culture. The company’s website features profiles of the Dynamos, as well as a newly launched magazine, “Centricity,” which seeks to make readers’ lives better through informative and engaging content.
Kiolbassa says that “Meet the Cinco” is a natural fit for World Car because of the auto dealerships’ longtime sponsorship of the team, as well as what the Spurs represent.
“The Spurs are such an embodiment of San Antonio’s spirit,” Kiolbassa says. “We are striving to be that same sort of positive force, something that can make a real difference to our city and inspire other businesses and individuals to do the same.”
