Saunders Landscape Supply Offers High-Quality Firewood During Firewood Shortage
Chantilly, VA (PRWEB) September 04, 2014 -- Saunders Landscape Supply president Donald Saunders Jr. is encouraging customers to order quality firewood early this year, since a lack of construction and an excess of storms has led to a significant shortage of firewood going into the cooler months.
Saunders Landscape Supply still has plenty to offer customers, while supplies last. Customers can choose from two different order sizes of the company's special hardwood firewood mix.
"It is a very high quality firewood that is a mix of oak, hickory, walnut, maple and cherry," said Saunders Jr, though the company's accolades speak for themselves. For each of the last three years, Saunders Landscape Supply has earned Super Service Awards from Angie's List for their quality firewood.
"We would encourage anyone to purchase their firewood early," Saunder's Jr. said, adding that this quality of wood will be difficult to find in a few months. Firewood takes about 90 days to season before it will burn at its best, and most of Saunders Landscape Supply's wood is seasoned over a period of 8-9 months.
The company, which also offers top-of-the-line topsoil, mulch, gravel, stone and sand in addition to firewood, delivers firewood in bulk to about 1,000 loyal customers in Northern Virginia and Maryland each year.
Customers can order firewood online or over the phone and have it delivered right to their driveway. Delivery is quick and usually has no charge. Customers don't even need to be home to receive the delivery, and can receive a courtesy call 30 minutes in advance.
