Human Element and Pentair Aquatic Eco-Systems launch new Magento website and see gains in internal efficiency and web traffic

The website strikes a balance between intuitive eCommerce functionality and design, and PAES’ desire to highlight their position as experts in the Aquaculture industry. In addition to the substantial eCommerce portion of the site, visitors find one section detailing the Design & Consulting side of PAES’ business and another dedicated to industry and product information distribution. A unique responsive template is in place, allowing users to browse and shop with ease on virtually any device.
A custom integration with the QAD ERP platform using the Magento API to pass data ensures that taxation, shipping rates and methods, inventory, orders and customer information are in sync between the two systems at all times. Customers have the ability to request tax-exempt status as part of account creation and multiple customer groups are in use to guarantee that special pricing is awarded to customers per contracted agreements.
