Winston Pointe in Clayton, NC to Add Sites for New-Home Construction

Clayton, NC subdivision Winston Pointe is set to begin construction of new homes in its second phase, The Pines at Winston Pointe. Starting in September 2014, the first of 120 new homesites will be available for construction of new homes.

Winston Pointe subdivision in Clayton, NC is poised for expansion, with a second phase of homesites set to open for construction of new homes in September 2014. According to realtor David Orringer, 120 future homesites will be available in the neighborhood’s newest section, The Pines at Winston Pointe, which will feature three-to-five-bedroom homes with prices starting around $250,000.

The planned unit development has much to offer according to Orringer, who notes, “Winston Pointe’s location is ideal for people who are looking to build a new home in a location that has the convenience of nearby shopping, restaurants and professional services such as doctors, but who would also like to enjoy a quieter, more rural way of life.”

Two builders, Caviness & Cates and SAVVY Homes, will provide home construction for the Johnston County subdivision. Fayetteville, NC-based Caviness & Cates built 514 new homes last year in NC. BUILDER Magazine recently named the company one of the nation’s “Top 100 Builders” for the sixth year in a row.

SAVVY Homes, located in Raleigh, NC, focuses on environmentally friendly building practices and has also won numerous industry awards over the past several years, including a 2013 “Builder of Integrity” award.

Winston Pointe is Clayton’s westernmost new-home community, with close proximity to Raleigh and the surrounding areas. At completion the community will include both single-family homes and townhomes, as well as amenities such as a shopping area, pool and playground.
