Clearwater Compliance Completes 2014 Educational Schedule with Timely Information Risk Management BootCamps™
Nashville, TN (PRWEB) September 05, 2014 -- As part of its robust lineup of information privacy and security risk management solutions, Clearwater Compliance has announced it will host new Information Risk Management BootCamp™ events in Los Angeles and Tampa as part of the company’s remaining 2014 educational schedule. For 2015, live, in-person events are scheduled for Dallas, New Orleans, Denver and Washington.
The Clearwater Information Risk Management BootCamp™ is geared toward information privacy, security, compliance and risk management professionals who are responsible for ensuring their organizations understand and manage their information security risks appropriately. The one-day course is designed to equip participants to conduct a bona fide information Risk Analysis based on the NIST framework and – even more importantly – implement a strong, ongoing Risk Management program.
Numerous professional associations such as IAPP, ISC2, ISSA, AHIMA and AMBA, among others grant Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits for the program.
Clearwater Compliance has already become a leader in the field of information risk management and compliance education, providing training for companies such as Symantec.
“Bob and team helped us customize and build an industry-focused BootCamp for our sales teams,” said Jenn Artura, Vertical Sales Enablement Leader at Symantec. “The training and ongoing support to our teams has been both impactful and instrumental in enabling the field from the ground up. As a result, the Clearwater BootCamp has become an integral part of our healthcare team’s on-boarding process.”
Building on the success of its renowned HIPAA Compliance BootCamp™, Clearwater’s latest curriculum focuses on the most pressing issues facing all organizations in their efforts to reasonably and appropriately safeguard all sensitive information including, but not limited to, Protected Health Information, Personally Identifiable Information and company proprietary information.
The new information risk curriculum has already garnered very positive responses from attendees, among them. “I feel much more equipped to provide informed guidance to my company’s information privacy and security compliance and risk management programs now!” said Bethany Moss, Quality Assurance Compliance Administrator at CareHere LLC.
“In healthcare, risk analysis and risk management will be centerpiece issues during Phase 2 of the HITECH-mandated audits in 2014, as well as any investigations conducted by Office for Civil Rights,” said Bob Chaput, CEO and founder of Clearwater Compliance. “More importantly, we are here to prepare organizations in all industries handling sensitive information respond effectively to this growing priority.”
In an interactive classroom environment, a faculty of nationally recognized, highly experienced and credentialed experts will guide attendees through risk management fundamentals while sharing key insights, hard won lessons learned and practical tools for Risk Analysis and Risk Management. The BootCamp curriculum includes “how to” modules such as:
