Cross It off your Bucket List, Seattle: You Can Win a Trip to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta®
Albuquerque, N.M. (PRWEB) September 05, 2014 -- To kick off new Alaska Airlines service from Seattle to Albuquerque, the Albuquerque Convention and Visitors Bureau and Alaska Airlines are offering travel lovers a chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta® this October. Balloon Fiesta is the world’s largest hot air balloon festival, and visitors can see more than 500 balloons dotting the sky during the annual event.
Now through September 14, consumers can enter at http://www.VisitABQ.org/AlaskaAir for the chance to win this “Bucket List” experience, and request a free Albuquerque Visitors Guide to assist with trip planning.
The prize package for two includes: roundtrip airfare from Seattle to Albuquerque on Alaska Airlines, a three-night stay at Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town, three days of VIP admission to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta®, including access to the Gondola Club Hospitality Suite, a hot air balloon ride from Rainbow Ryders, admission to the Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum, two official Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta® jackets, and admission to Explora. The trip will take place October 7-10, 2014 and is valued at more than $3,000.
Visitors to Balloon Fiesta can experience early-morning mass ascensions, evening balloon glow events, competitions, live music and sample Albuquerque’s world-renowned green chile.
In addition to all the activities surrounding Balloon Fiesta, visitors can immerse themselves in what locals know as the “magical season” in Albuquerque, with chile roasting, fall colors and incredible blue skies. And with several museums, exciting outdoor adventure opportunities, and unique shopping and restaurants, there’s always something to do when the balloons aren’t in the air.
