Chi-Town’s Veto Vangundy Releases Mixtape Sequel “The Last Hope”
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) September 05, 2014 -- Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes announce the release of “The Last Hope” Mixtape by Veto Vangundy. The 15-track project is currently available for download on the Coast 2 Coast website and DatPiff. This mixtape features productions by Black Metaphor, C-Sick, Vybe Beatz, Stompboxx Music, Bolo Da Producer, Bravestarr Beats, and Magic Beats. There is also a featured appearance by Adot New Sh*t.
Raised in the rough streets of Chicago, Veto Vangundy rose above the overwhelming crime to take on the mic. Many from his town call him a “diamond in the rough” or “a breath of fresh air,” when comparing him to the mean streets they call home. He had listened to rappers like Jadakiss, Jay-Z, and Beanie Sigel as an adolescent, and was inspired by the many greats that came out of Chicago as well. Veto unfortunately lost his older brother in 2004, but it was also the push he needed to take his music career seriously, and he hopes to bring "Chicago back to what it was known for” musically, with their wordsmiths and storytelling ability.
Veto Vangundy releases “The Last Hope” mixtape, the sequel to his prominent album “From Pain To Glory.” This emcee is driven by a humble upbringing and personal experiences from growing up in Chi-Town’s infamous LeClaire Courts. Solid productions from Black Metaphor, Bolo Da Producer, and fellow Chicagoan C-Sick only heightens his wordplay throughout this story. Veto delivers his most balanced solo project to date on this street album “The Last Hope.” Keep up with his latest work on Twitter at @vetovangundy.
