Pilot and Entrepreneur Kenneth Klothe of Trident Star Global, LLC Included in Prestigious Airman Certification Database
Washington, DC (USA) (PRWEB) September 07, 2014 -- Chief Pilot and Entrepreneur Kenneth Klothe has been certified at the highest level of pilot ability as “airline transport pilot” (ATP) in the Airmen Certification Database of the Federal Aviation Administration of the United States of America.
This certification requires a minimum of 1,500 hours of flight time (1200 for Helicopters), 500 hours of cross-country flight time, 100 hours of night flight time, and 75 hours instrument operations time. The highest level of certification is the Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP), which is required to fly a commercial airliner. The database is accessible at http://www.faa.gov.
“I am honored by the certification,” says Klothe. “The overriding concern in all flight operations is safety, and the purpose of the ATP is to ensure that pilots meet this highest standard of ability. This certification assures our clients that we do everything to make our operations as safe as possible. This is especially important when conducting personnel recoveries and evacuations from unsavory locations.”
Anne Petty, HR Manager, adds, “Ken certainly sets the standard for the pilots running our flight operations. While we operate in often difficult and austere environments, we maintain the highest professional standards for flight personnel.”
Kenneth Klothe heads the aviation services company Trident Star Global, LLC, which recently completed successful evacuation missions for two major international companies in Iraq and Libya. In fact, the Iraq location of the foreign personnel that was evacuated by Trident Star Global, LLC was attacked by ISIS militants only a day after the mission. Trident Star Global, LLC was called in after the Iraqi attempt to evacuate the foreign personnel failed because the Iraqi Army Helicopter suffered an accident at the evacuation site. Trident Star Global, LLC also operates charter flights to Libya for engineering projects. Klothe has more than 6,000 hours flight experience on military and civil aircraft, including the A-4 and the E-2C. In 2004, he received the Command Leadership Award for the Navy as Commanding Officer of an aviation squadron in direct support of Special Operations.
