GeniusCentral Systems appoints John Miles as CEO/President
SARASOTA, Fla. (PRWEB) September 08, 2014 -- GeniusCentral Systems, Inc. today announced that Chief Executive Officer Dan Clarke has decided with the Board of Directors to resign his position effective immediately. The Board has appointed President John Miles to take on a dual position as President and CEO.
Miles joined the company in August 2014 following previous executive positions at Dell, Lowe’s and most recently, Catalina Marketing. He will report to the Board of Directors for GeniusCentral.
Board Chairman Tom Danis said he feels confident that Miles will grow the company in both size and integrity, with a strong focus on employee development, product innovation and customer satisfaction.
“Because of his extensive leadership background, appointing John Miles to the position of president and CEO was an easy choice. We are incredibly confident in his ability to bring GeniusCentral to the forefront of the technology industry,” Danis said. “We’re very grateful for all of Dan Clarke’s hard work in bringing GeniusCentral to a much stronger company than when he arrived.”
During his time at GeniusCentral, Clarke focused greatly on building relationships with key customers like Sprouts Farmers Market and collaborators such as Intel® and SPINS. He joined the company in early 2012. Clarke will continue to advise Miles during the transition period.
“I look forward to continuing to build upon the relationships that Dan has created while he was with GeniusCentral and also growing the company into a stronger and more cutting edge organization,” Miles said. “In my role, I will continue to focus on creating great products for our customers, improving customer support, collaborating with our partners and building a world-class company with my incredible, hard-working staff.”
