White Knight Press Releases Full-Color Users Guide for Sony RX100 III Camera
Henrico, Virginia (PRWEB) September 07, 2014 -- With the publication of Photographer's Guide to the Sony DSC-RX100 III, author Alexander White has provided a complete but very readable guide book for getting the most benefit from the advanced features of Sony's newly upgraded pocketable camera. The RX100 III camera, building on the success of the original RX100 and RX100 II, offers a built-in electronic viewfinder, a tilting LCD display, a built-in neutral density filter, the advanced XAVC S video format, and numerous tweaks or enhancements to other features and menu options. White's comprehensive book covers all of these features in clear language, providing step-by-step instructions where appropriate. The book includes more than 400 color photographs and illustrations, including many examples of images taken with the RX100 III, as well as screenshots that illustrate the camera's wide variety of menu options and display screens.
This new book, with 493 pages of content in its printed version, covers all aspects of capturing still images and video sequences with the Sony camera. The book explains topics such as aperture priority, shutter priority, exposure compensation, the Raw format, and continuous shooting. It includes step-by-step guides to the use of the camera’s Wi-Fi features, which let the camera transfer images and videos wirelessly to a computer or other device and which let the user control the camera remotely using a smartphone or tablet. The book also discusses the use of advanced techniques such as infrared photography, astrophotography, and digiscoping.
The book includes illustrations showing the use of each setting of the camera's Scene mode, with options for shots of landscapes, portraits, pets, and other subjects. The book also demonstrates the use of all of the camera's Creative Style and Picture Effect settings, which give the photographer controls for dramatically altering the colors and other aspects of images. The book also includes a full discussion of the sophisticated video features of the camera, including manual control of focus and exposure during movie recording.
In three appendices, the book discusses accessories for the RX100 III, including cases, external flash, and filter adapters, and includes a list of web sites and other resources. The book also includes an appendix with “quick tips” for using the camera’s features in the most efficient ways. The book has a detailed Table of Contents and Index, both of which can be downloaded for examination at the White Knight Press website.
The paperback version of the RX100 III guide book is available for $26.95 through Amazon.com; it also is available in a Kindle edition through that site. The book is available for $9.95 in downloadable PDF and ebook formats through White Knight Press. It also can be purchased through the Apple iBookStore, Google Play, and other sites for the purchase of ebooks.
