Safe and Effective Spinal Manipulations Help End Back Pain
Astoria, New York (PRWEB) September 09, 2014 -- Back pain is one of the most common reasons patients seek out the help of a physical therapist. This pain can be brought about by injury, illness, disease or other condition causing a misalignment of the spine. It can be chronic, never letting up or diminishing. It can be a dull ache or a sharp pain. Back pain can affect the person’s ability to stand, bend or even sit up straight.
When a patient comes to a physical therapy clinic with back pain, it’s important to be able to quickly and correctly diagnose and treat the condition.
To this end, Hands-On Seminars is now offering a comprehensive course in high velocity, low amplitude (HVLA) spinal manipulation. This training will be available to health care providers in Woodstock, NY on October 18-19, 2014.
This course will provide an overview of pertinent safety issues regarding spinal manipulation in addition to evaluation and treatment techniques for the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine.
