(PRWEB UK) 11 September 2014 -- The summer transfer window is now closed and all eyes are now firmly focused back on the Premier League season and the stars they will be following.
Several players that have been transferred this summer either on loans or contracts like Daley Blind will be carrying the dreams of fans and in the case of the Dutch master to turn defence into attack.
Football fans have flocked to the Official Daly Blind PFA Facebook page in search of news and updates on the new Manchester United midfielder, creating a surge in growth and interaction. Post reach on his Facebook page have increased by as much as 200% in the past day. The Dutch World Cup star joins Manchester United from the Eredivisie with expectations high for at least a top four finish enabling the club to join the European elite clubs once more next season.
Head of Operations at DSG. Matthew Tait has this to say: “Blind was one of the stars of the Dutch side who finished 3rd at the World Cup in Brazil and will be looking to translate that international run into form for his new club. Blind is a versatile player who can play defensive midfield and left-back and will of course be familiar with the managerial and philosophical style of Luis van Gaal. We have some great Facebook pages for PFA members and are extremely proud to be helping them with their social media presence with great content that their fans are really responding to.”
Jason Hope, Content Manager of DSG believes that the player’s media exposure is sure to increase with the Premier League season now in full flow: “Man United certainly stole the headlines later in the transfer window with the acquisition of the likes of Di Maria, Blind and Falcao. After such a surprising and exciting season the 2014-15 edition promises if anything to be even more exciting with several clubs strengthening their squads in the summer transfer window. We are all excited to see what happens this season with Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool closely matched last season and looking to improve. Manchester United are looking very good indeed in terms of new personnel and the coming weeks are looking very interesting for the twenty-time Premier League champions.”
