It’s never been easier to experience the visceral punch of American horsepower, as Hennessey Performance upgrades can now be ordered at AutoNation’s stores from coast to coast. The automotive retail giant is comprised of 273 franchises with 33 brands across 15 states.

To celebrate the new AutoNation/Hennessey alliance, the horsepower show is going on the road to give customers an up-close look at what makes Hennessey vehicles so unique. With a Hennessey HPE550 Supercharged Chevrolet Silverado truck trailering a Hennessey HPE650 Supercharged Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, the tour will take these vehicles to major-market AutoNation Chevrolet stores across America, starting with a kick-off on September 10, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at AutoNation Chevrolet Fort Lauderdale located at 1300 N. Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304.

Both the Hennessey-tuned Corvette and Silverado will be on display at most of AutoNation’s 27 Chevrolet stores over the next 12 months. Demonstration rides will be available by contacting the nearest AutoNation store to set up an appointment.

Hennessey upgrades aren’t limited to just a single marque; Chevrolet is just a starting point with packages for the Corvette, Camaro, SS, Tahoe, Silverado and Suburban. Hennessey and AutoNation will be offering a similar program with 2015 Ford vehicles, including the new Mustang and aluminum-bodied trucks. Look for the HennesseyNation road show to visit the 37 AutoNation Ford stores beginning in 2015. “The prospect of two automotive powerhouses teaming up to do something new and different, it’s really groundbreaking,” said Don Goldman of Hennessey Performance.
