R.A.K.I. Computers Recycling Celebrates 23 years by Expanding its Pick-up Service
(PRWEB) September 10, 2014 -- Founded in August of 1991, R.A.K.I. Computers Recycling reached 23 years of servicing corporate and community e-waste disposal this summer, and with age comes big plans for moving the company forward.
For over two decades, R.A.K.I. has specialized in servicing the Houston and Greater Houston area for electronic disposal needs, but now it has its eyes set on expanding to its neighboring cities throughout the Lone Star State.
R.A.K.I. attributes this shift to its own internal growth as well as servicing large-sized corporations that need unified supplier relationships across all locations. One such industry this has become apparent in is oil and gas, a paramount client base for this e-recycler.
“We’ve found that many of our new clients are looking for a recycler that can service them on a statewide or even national scale, which we hadn’t seen much of in the past. But if that’s what our customers need then it’s our pleasure to meet that requirement” says Amit Behor Vice President of Operations at R.A.K.I. Computers Recycling.
However, R.A.K.I.’s desire to expand its territory does not come without some challenges.
R.A.K.I. uses a trucking network to haul all its materials to its headquarters in Houston. This expansion might present new cost for the firm, but its key ability to offer competitive prices for the re-marketing of IT equipment will enable the expansion to be a smooth endeavor.
Fortunately, R.A.K.I. Computers Recycling will not find a shortage of Texan companies in need of IT and electronic equipment disposal. This is especially true considering the multi-site nature of oil and gas operations, which produce a wide range of electronic waste besides IT hardware.
R.A.K.I. can expect to encounter seismic, telemetry, communication, and industrial equipment characteristic of oil and gas exploration as it embarks on its birthday road trip abroad. Particularly, it intends to establish a strong presence in other industry heavy cities such as Austin, Dallas, Huntsville, and Midland Texas.
