With over 250,000 square feet of warehouse space, over 100,000 items, and increased sales, Christmas Central has needed to change things to decrease handling times and get orders to the customer's doorstep faster.
The e-commerce company spent the last 6 months moving shipping lines, reworking storage systems, and changing handling procedures. Christmas Central anticipates they will be able to handle over 20,000 orders a day as the autumn season blends into winter. Changes have been required as the company continues to grow and expand their stock.
With sales coming in at a month-to-month increase of 60%, the Buffalo, NY company has expanded their Halloween and autumn stock. Customers will have an increased selection including new design options of fall-themed wreaths, garlands, lights, and many other types of décor for this season. There will also be higher inventory levels on items that were available in previous years.
