APT recently won four Stevie International Business Awards, including Gold for Best New Product or Service of the Year for the APT Index

Applied Predictive Technologies (APT) announced today that its APT Index product won a gold International Business Award for Best New Product or Service of the Year. The International Business Awards are often referred to as the Stevie Awards. In addition to this award, APT won silver and bronze Stevie Awards for its Category Management Insights software solution, corporate social responsibility, and high level of innovation. Past Stevie Award winners include Acer Inc., Apple, BASF, BT, Ford Motor Company, ING, Procter & Gamble, Roche Group, and Samsung, among many others.

“These awards are a strong endorsement of the innovative technologies that APT develops,” said APT CEO Anthony Bruce. “We are excited about the unique recognition that the APT Index has received, by being judged as the most innovative Big Data Solution. Using the APT Index, we can provide retailers and restaurants with the most definitive comps data at the macro level as well as for each local market. The awards also recognize our Category Management Insights software that provides automated, analytically-robust recommendations to merchants and category managers. We are constantly innovating across our rapidly expanding suite of software solutions to provide superior analytics for over 100 leading companies across the globe. In addition to bringing analytical innovations to the market, APT continues to make an impact in the communities where we have our offices by partnering with educational and service organizations to help them make data-driven decisions.”

Earlier in the year, APT was selected as the #1 place to work by the Washington Business Journal and #1 medium-sized workplace by the Washington Post in the Washington, D.C. area. In 2013, APT received a $100 million investment from Goldman Sachs. Accel-KKR has been an investor since 2006.

Since 2002, the Gold Stevie Award has been conferred for achievement in business to organizations and individuals in more than 60 nations. The awards were created to honor and generate public recognition for the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and working professionals worldwide.
