CHUNGDAHM ReadWrite Celebrates First Anniversary and Announces Additional Programs
Newton, MA (PRWEB) September 12, 2014 -- CHUNGDAHM ReadWrite, an advanced after-school and summer enrichment center specializing in critical reading, writing, and thinking, announced the addition of learning center programs as well as its first year anniversary.
ReadWrite will be introducing several new programs to benefit students and non-students alike, including Vacation Days at ReadWrite, Pizza and Book Club Nights, and expanded Study Hall options.
“We are thrilled to be celebrating a great first year at the learning center, and we look forward to embarking on an even better second year,” said Jean Teillon, President, CHUNGDAHM America. “Our new program offerings were inspired by enthusiasm and demand from our parents and our students, and we are happy to be able to offer additional ways to help with their academic enrichment.”
Vacation Days at ReadWrite is designed to give students a leg up while having fun during school holidays. Students grades 3-8 work on school assignments, improve their reading and writing skills, and participate in creative fun.
Vacation Days is offered Sept. 25th, Nov. 11th, Jan. 19th, April 3rd, and Monday-Friday the weeks of February 16th and April 20th.
ReadWrite’s first Pizza and Book Club Night featuring an analysis of “The Giver” will take place on October 17th, giving parents an evening of leisure while their 3rd to 8th graders have fun discussing the novel “The Giver” and filming a “short” interpretation of the book.
ReadWrite Study Hall is a distraction-free zone for students grades 5+ to complete homework assignments, read, write, and study. Students will set homework goals for the allotted time, interact with other academically-minded students, and learn good study habits. ReadWrite Instructors will monitor progress, answer questions, and provide support on Monday-Thursday from 3-6pm.
