CWIST and Science Buddies look to provide fun, creative resources for STEM education

CWIST, Inc. is once again partnering with a leading education company to add to its extensive library of kids’ challenges. Science Buddies will join the CWIST platform, just in time for the new school year.

A new school year is a new opportunity to get kids excited about learning and challenging them in a creative and fun way, while giving them incentives for their hard work.

CWIST encourages kids, 5-11, to make a healthy connection between the things they want and the effort it takes to get them. This unique platform offers a crowd-sourced library of educational and fun challenges from parents and educators, including customized content, challenges and “wishes” from their curated partners.
The award-winning, non-profit Science Buddies empowers K-12 students, parents, and teachers to quickly and easily find free project ideas and help in all areas of science from physics to food science and music to microbiology.

Together, CWIST and Science Buddies will create customized STEM education challenges for the CWIST platform, giving kids and parents even more resources to learn something new and build on their in-classroom education.

“CWIST’s mission is to provide parents and children a growing resource of fun, creative, educational, challenges, incentivizing kids to make learning fun,” says Chris Sleat, CEO of CWIST, Inc. “Science Buddies is a fantastic partner for CWIST, in that they have the same mission, based on STEM education, a critical part of elementary learning.”

"CWIST provides Science Buddies the perfect platform to further expand our STEM education activities," says Ken Hess, Founder and President, Science Buddies. "Giving parents and kids resources to make education fun and exciting is what we are both trying to achieve."
