TOPICS Entertainment (http://www.topics-ent.com), sponsor of TheFlashcard.org— a Blog for Language Educators—is pleased to announce the latest post, “Think like a Native Speaker.”
The post discusses two Georgetown University studies on the brain processes of language learners. A 2012 study showed how the immersion-learning method affects the brain versus the traditional grammar-translation method. A second study in 2014 asks what effects, if any, do traditional grammar-translation methods have on immersion learning. The results may surprise readers.
