VigorOx® WWT II Dosing and Control Station To Debut on Trade Show Floor

PeroxyChem announced today that it will attend the 87th Annual Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC) in New Orleans from September 29 through October 1. PeroxyChem’s booth will showcase VigorOx® WWT II wastewater disinfection technology, the peracetic acid based alternative to chlorine and UV disinfection for municipal wastewater treatment.

The highlight of PeroxyChem’s booth will be its VigorOx WWT II Dosing and Control Station. Members of PeroxyChem’s Wastewater Disinfection team will be on hand to give tours of the mobile disinfection system, which will feature a demonstration program that simulates how the system works on site.

“The station demonstrates the ease of implementation and use that VigorOx WWT II wastewater disinfection technology offers,” said Alberto Garibi, vice president of business development and Water Treatment Technology. “Municipalities are challenged to find disinfection solutions that meet regulatory guidelines and that are easy and cost-effective to implement. Our complete system integrates easily into any existing infrastructure, enabling disinfection compliance at lower life-cycle costs to the user.”

“We look forward to sharing the latest positive results of VigorOx WWT II in Mayport, Florida and Potsdam, New York,” said Dr. Philip Block, technology director for Water Treatment. “As more municipalities implement VigorOx WWT II, they’re encouraged not only by its effectiveness on challenging wastewater effluents, but also by its environmental advantages against chlorine. VigorOx WWT II forms no harmful byproducts such as THMS and HAAs and decomposes into the benign compounds water and vinegar.”

WEFTEC is the largest annual water quality event in the world, bringing together professionals from all fields of the water treatment industry.
