RMSR Training Program New Partnership Aims to Help Applicants Obtain Career Certification and Qualify for Medical Sales Rep Job Opportunities
Washington, DC (PRWEB) September 12, 2014 -- Researchers conducted a comprehensive review of the medical sales training with its industry specific scientific medical industry product knowledge and performed a meta-analysis to synthesize the findings from multiple studies about the effectiveness of medical sales vocational education programs. A meta-analysis is a comprehensive way of synthesizing findings from multiple studies to develop scientific consensus about the efficacy of a program or an intervention.
“We found strong evidence that medical sales vocational education plays a large role in the selection process when companies look to hire medical sales reps,” said Melvin Simmons, a Director at the NAMSR and also oversee the RMSR Program. “The findings are clear that providing entry level education programs and vocational training helps thousands of new applicants qualify for the fast growing industry of medical device and equipment sales and also improves their future sales projections prospects.”
The analysis was limited to studies published about medical sales education programs in the United States that included an academic or vocational curriculum with a structured instructional component. The analysis focused on whether education improved labor force participation and gains in sales goals achievements. The study did not assess life skills programs.
According to CEW (Center on Education and the Workforce), industry-specific certifications are becoming more prevalent and recognized. The RMSR medical sales vocational program is typically between six weeks to 2 months— but is commonly pursued part-time and shows good earnings returns for the educational investment.
“Over a long period, there has been limited growth in four-year university enrollments,” Michelle Rosberg, leader of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development’s (OECD) reviews of vocational education and training. “But in recent years, there has been rapid growth in shorter certificate programs which certainly qualifies applicants for careers in a particular industry that they select to go into.”
The Mission of the National Association of Medical Sales Representatives (NAMSR) is to be the national representative of the medical sales rep profession, serving the public and the profession by promoting comprehensive training and educational programs, conferences and seminars where members can share ideas, professional excellence and respect for the medical industry.
According to reviews on Amazon, “Probably the best medical sales training book written in the last 20 years! I highly recommend it. Many companies are using it to qualify candidates or train their own reps.”
