Former Director at the Council of Europe Centre of Delphi Joins the List of Maritime Experts to Speak in Qatar Next Month
Doha, Qatar (PRWEB) September 10, 2014 -- The organizing committee for QMARSEC 2014 has confirmed Dr. Ioannis Loukas will become one of the guest speakers during the annual conference scheduled to take place on October 14th and 15th 2014 at the Ritz-Carlton in Qatar.
As a PhD in International Relations from the University of Athens, Dr. Ioannis Loukas has had a prolific academic and professional career in the field of armed forces and marine systems. In a career spanning over three decades, Dr. Loukas has held several important positions such as the Chair Professor in Greek Naval Academy, Professor in Helmut-Schmidt-University of the German Federal Armed Forces, and the Director, European Centre of Delphi, Council of Europe. Dr. Loukas has also served as the Senior Advisor to the Chairman of ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems, Hamburg. At present, he is the General Director, Middle East & North Africa Business Strategies and Politics of ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems, Doha.
Expressing his gratitude towards Dr. Ioannis Loukas for becoming a part of QMARSEC 2014, the Director of Qatar National Security Shield Project Staff Brigadier (Pilot) Mohammed A.
