Greenberg Traurig attorneys Chinh H. Pham and Daniel J. Blanchard will present at the Boston Festival of Indie Games (BFIG) from 2:30 – 3:30 PM on September 13, 2014 at the MIT – Johnson Athletic Center in Cambridge, MA.
Pham and Blanchard will present “Video Game Jeopardy: How to Commercialize Your Video Game.” This interactive session will explore the business, finance and legal perks and pitfalls of video game commercialization. They will discuss best practices and tips for bringing video games to market, attracting investors and other funding, and achieving commercial success.

Pham co-leads Greenberg Traurig’s Emerging Technology Group and is a member of the firm’s Video Game & Interactive Media Team. A registered patent attorney, Pham’s video game, interactive media and mobile tech experience includes Brass Monkey, World Gamer, Game Show Network, Metaversal Studios, and more. He serves as a speaker and company mentor for a number of technology accelerator programs, including MassDiGI, MassChallenge, Harvard iLab and Northeastern Idea.
Blanchard is an Associate in Greenberg Traurig’s Corporate Group. Representing clients in a wide range of industries, his practice focuses on securities regulations, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital transactions. Blanchard advises digital game companies and investors on a variety of commercial transactions, and represents digital game clients in transactions involving intellectual property assets. He also has experience structuring and negotiating collaboration and license agreements.

The festival seeks to support and showcase the efforts of independent game developers, as well as youth programs focused on game development and related fields to strengthen the game development industry of New England.
