Indoor Location Industry Veteran Jon Rosen To Serve as Chair for Opus Research’s Place Conference Series

Opus Research, a San Francisco-based industry analysis and advisory firm, is pleased to announce that Jon Rosen will be serving as Chair for its global Place Conference series, the premier venue for education, opinion and partnership development for the indoor location industry.

First launched in October 2013, Place Conference is a unique industry event covering how indoor positioning, offline analytics and indoor mobile-location targeting is improving the way that retailers, venue owners, manufacturers and brands manage operations, marketing and the customer experience.

In July 2014, the sold-out Place Conference in New York City brought together perspectives and expertise from brands, retailers, agencies, technology providers, regulators, and investors to network and discuss what’s next for indoor location.

In addition, not shying away from controversy, the Place Conference series tackles privacy concerns that retailers may harbor in launching indoor location and place-based marketing initiatives.

Mr. Rosen has been a high-profile leader in the Location Technologies industry for several years, as both a consultant and advisor to software and technology firms, most recently serving as executive vice president for iInside (formerly WirelessWERX). Rosen brings a crossover background to the Location market with over 25 years’ experience as a business growth leader for software firms as well as digital media, including stints at AOL/Time Warner, EMC and Autobytel.
