SFA|SFM Announces Newest Hire—Clara Jones, Formerly of Northrop Grumman, to Serve as Director of Human Resources and Risk Management

SFA|SFM has again added to its team with the addition of Clara Jones, who will serve as Director of HR and Risk Management. Clara will oversee the development of policy and all human resources activities including employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, risk management, employee relations and employee support services, for team members in the corporate offices and facilities across the country.

The Sports Facilities Advisory and sister firm Sports Facilities Management (SFA|SFM) have announced the hire of Clara Jones, who will take on the role of Director of Human Resources and Risk Management as SFA|SFM continues its previously uncharted growth during the rise of the youth sports segment.

Clara, who joins SFA|SFM with a B.A. in Psychology and a Masters in Public Administration with a concentration in Government Contracts, as well as a decade of HR experience, believes that her prior career experience has prepared her to be a fully contributing member of the SFA|SFM team and its mission.

Clara joins as SFA|SFM has recently appointed several industry veterans—including Steve Daugherty and Steve Eaton, formerly of Disney’s Wide World of Sports and Disney Theme Parks Disney, as well as former Ford Field Stadium General Manager Joan LeMahieu—and the company asserts that Clara will add to its success in such diverse areas as event development, sports marketing, new facility development, strategic planning, sports tourism, finance, emergency preparedness, and human resources.
